Find your calm at Serenity in the Stadium
In a world that rarely slows down, making time to pause, move and reconnect with yourself has never been more important. Between work, family commitments and the constant pull of our screens, it can be easy to put our own wellbeing last. Events like Serenity in the Stadium are a reminder that even a small moment of stillness can help us feel more grounded, connected and ready to take on life's challenges.
GMHBA is proud to support Serenity in the Stadium for the third year running, bringing our community together for a unique morning of movement, mindfulness and wellbeing.
On Sunday 11 October 2026, hundreds of people will gather on the turf of GMHBA Stadium during World Mental Health Month for an hour of guided gentle yoga and mindfulness. Whether you're new to yoga or a regular practitioner, everyone is welcome to roll out a mat, take a breath and enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience.
What makes this event even more meaningful is the impact it has beyond the stadium. Every registration helps support Read the Play and Active Geelong, funding programs that promote youth mental health, movement and wellbeing across our region.
As one of GMHBA's valued community partners, Read the Play supports young people through dedicated Player Wellbeing Officers based in local sporting clubs, providing a trusted point of support for players, parents and coaches when they need it most.
Supporting initiatives like Serenity in the Stadium reflects our commitment to helping create healthier, more connected communities, bringing people together while supporting services that make a real difference.
