GMHBA has activated its Disaster Relief Support for members impacted by the current fires across Victoria.
Members affected by the fires may be eligible for assistance designed to provide financial flexibility during this period, including the option to suspend their membership for up to 12 months. Where further support is required, additional hardship assistance may also be available.
GMHBA CEO David Greig said the organisation is focused on ensuring members know help is available.
“We understand the very significant impact of these fires on individuals, families and communities,” Mr Greig said. “If members have been impacted, we encourage them to reach out when they’re ready so we can discuss the support options available to them.”
