Access to Connect Rewards balances closed as of 30 June 2022 and can no longer be redeemed on services.
How Connect Rewards worked
The Connect Rewards program provided members on selected products the opportunity to receive additional benefits on a limited range of services. In 2019, the decision was made to close the program in order to reinvest in existing and new product development to deliver better value to all members.
When Connect Rewards ceased to accrue in February 2019, GMHBA allowed members until 31 December 2021 to access the remaining balance. This was then extended to 30 June 2022 due to the difficulty of accessing healthcare and using the remaining balance during COVID-19.
Connect Rewards is no longer available to redeem on services, and any unused rewards were forfeited as of 30 June 2022.
