Step 1 - Hospital cover, extras or both?
If you'd like to be covered for treatment when you're admitted to hospital, you'll need hospital cover.
If you'd like cover for services like dental, physiotherapy or glasses, you'll need extras cover. Medicare doesn't always cover these services so having extras cover will help pay for them.
You can take out hospital cover on its own, however many people choose to combine it with extras cover. You can mix & match any of our hospital covers with just about any extras cover to create a cover that is just right for you. Or you can take out a packaged cover that GMHBA has designed.
Special offer: Right now we're waiving most of our normal 2 month waiting periods for general dental, physiotherapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy and any level of hospital cover except for psychiatric, rehabilitation or palliative care.*
Step 2 - What level of cover do you need?
We have different levels of hospital and extras cover so that you can find one that suits you.
