When selecting which combined cover is right for you, don't forget it is not just about the rate you pay. For hospital cover you should consider which procedures you are likely to use, your life stage and what level of benefits you want along with which extras services you are most likely to use, the frequency, and what you will get back when you claim.

Different States, different rates
The cost of extras services varies from State to State. For this reason, the coverage and price of GMHBA's combined package extras covers also varies. When you're comparing covers, be sure to check that you are referring to the table from your State.
Extras coverage comparison tables
These tables summarise your extras options at a glance using an easy to follow star system. The more stars shown, the better the coverage and benefits.
The GMHBA Member Guide includes a detailed extras comparison table that lists the benefits and standard waiting periods included for each type of extras cover. You can download the detailed comparison in PDF format here. Please ensure that you select the correct PDF for your State.
