
Silver Hospital cover from our Everyday range gives you extensive cover, with peace of mind. It's a great option if you want to be covered in a private hospital but don't want the top cover.
Take out Silver Hospital cover and your premiums are reduced by excluding some services you may not need.
Exclusions
To reduce the premium, Silver Hospital excludes the following services:
- Obstetrics
- Joint replacement
- Cosmetic surgery
- IVF and related services
- Cataract surgery and corneal transplants.
What's covered?
Silver Hospital provides cover1 at participating private hospitals for:
- Private hospital accommodation2 in a shared or single room (where available)
- Medical gap
- Theatre
- Intensive and coronary care
- Same day treatment
- Surgically implanted prostheses (Government prescribed benefits)
- Other agreed charges
Public hospitals
For services not listed under 'exclusions' you'll be covered1 for hospital accommodation costs when you are admitted to a single or shared room (subject to bed availability) as a private patient in a public hospital.
