High Limits
Platinum extras has some of the highest annual limits available on any of GMHBA’s extras covers. Claim with the confidence that you’ll be covered for the services you need, when you need them and get more back, more often if you claim regularly.
Percentage Based Refunds
Know exactly what you’ll get back when you claim. Instead of having a set dollar amount, your refund is based on what your provider charges you. For example, get 80% back with Platinum extras: Visit the chiropractor and the consult costs you $100, you get back $80, up to any annual limits.
Weight Loss Services
Platinum extras provides you with a refund on Weight Watchers, Fernwood Weight Loss and Jenny Craig weight loss programs when recommended in writing by a doctor. Get rewarded for reaching your goals, get healthier and lose weight.

Connect Rewards Plus
Take out combined hospital and extras cover, excluding Fit Packages, to enjoy the extra benefits of GMHBA’s member loyalty program, Connect Rewards Plus.
The program allows members to accumulate Connect Reward dollars year on year.
The amount of dollars you receive depends on how long you have been a GMHBA member and your level of hospital cover. So the longer you have been with us the more rewards dollars you will receive.
You can then use your Connect Reward dollars to claim on on services not covered, or to reduce, or eliminate out of pocket expenses.
