GMHBA Bowel Cancer Risk Identification program

Many people incorrectly assume that bowel cancer predominately has a genetic history. More than 75% of people who develop bowel cancer do not have a family history of the disease. Both women and men are at risk of developing the disease, which affects 1 in 18 men and 1 in 26 women in Australia before the age of 75. Read more..

Strong Knees Program

Effective 12th September 2012, members on Platinum and Gold Hospital cover are now eligible for a 100% benefit on the Strong Knees Program provided by Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre.

The program consists of a series of exercise and learning sessions designed to achieve optimal strength, mobility and function for mild to moderately osteo-arthritic knees. Read more..
