Run Geelong and Run Ballarat
Run Geelong is Australia’s biggest regional fun run event which raises much needed funds for the Geelong Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
In 2011, the participant record smashed expectations with 11,150 participants running, jogging, walking or pushing their prams around the streets of Geelong, raising an incredible $448,000 for the Geelong Hospital Children’s Ward in an amazing show of community spirit!
GMHBA is proud to be an event partner for the 2012 Run Geelong event on Sunday 18th November.
Run Ballarat will be run for the first time in 2012 on Sunday 21st October, 2012.
This event has grown from the idea that we as a community can come together to change the face of Children’s Health in the Ballarat Community.
Runners and walkers of all abilities can challenge themselves with either a 12km or 6km course that starts on beautiful Sturt Street (opposite the City Oval), visits some of Ballarat’s most iconic landmarks and finishes on City Oval.
